Fukuoka was the first city I visited when I went to Japan recently for a wedding. This song marks the first in a series of House tracks inspired by that trip. I remember catching the plane from Narita to Fukuoka (we landed in Narita and spent the night at a capsule hotel at the airport before flying to Fukuoka the next morning) and the guy behind me getting kicked off the plane cos his 'talent' hadn't arrived in time! HAH!

Fukuoka itself was one of my favourite cities to visit. Quiet enough, until you get to Hakata station and then everything comes alive! I went to a really nice wedding there, stayed in the nicest hotel of the entire trip there and felt as though I had visited a really, 'mature' city. I really loved it!

I hope you'll enjoy FUKUOKA with Jason Simmons on the vocals!
